This is the same face - give or take a few years and a bit of life thrown in between the two.
Now watch this coldplay tune first and then this version of the same tune - with a difference of 50 odd years between the singers! Sad, happy or just plain old inevitable?

Coldplay, no thank you . Get someone with talent and a less morose outlook.
I’d rather juggle cats and chainsaws than listen to those maudlin, miserable, one chord wonders.
The way the British music press sycophantically worship one chord wonders because they are ‘Brit pop’ is a disgrace to the British music scene.
The old folks singing the coldplay tune form XY were far more inspirational than Chris ‘ mines a lemonade’ Martin.

That old fella doing fix you is far more poignant than some helmet who calls his kid apple doing it.
My only question is this- is the old bloke singing it in context of his hip?
