I’d not sell my DNA at any cost. Tis unique to me, I’d consider finerprints though, worth a few quid!

I would sell my DNA, though not for cloning. I hope that they would be able to do more research on the FOXC2 gene as I supposedly have a hereditary condition called Primary Lymphedema…. And I’d be willing to contribute to the education of the disorder.

But what if they’re using the DNA they buy (combined with egg cells) to produce embryos, and then they get rid of the embryos once they have the stem cells they want? Sure, they’re making transplant organs to help people, but are they also destroying life in the process?

There’s a whole lot of rubbish spoken about stem cells in my opinion.
They are embryos, they are not cognitive people.
If they can be used for great, important work like repairing my liver damage, curing baldness, growing me new lungs then surely these vitally important areas of research should be pursued.
Get on with it, if you need real live babies then again, lets discuss - most of them grow up into ‘hoodies’ and hang around outside the local off license anyway.

Here, in Quebec (Canada) there is a project to get about 20 000 different donator of DNA… a pilot project to find human pattern and understand the human DNA. they want to be the leader in that domain…
