Odd planet, the place to go for odd up to the minute news had a great post about the Chief of Police in Oslo, Norway losing his wallet to a couple of pick pockets. He was on the Oslo Airport train when a group of people bumped into him. Apparently, he was too distracted to realize his wallet was missing until his checked his pockets a few minutes later.We encourage smelling the flowers but not to the point of complete distraction.
What is even better about this is ironically the pick pocketing occured a few days before the chief had planned a crack down on pick pocketing in Oslo! So when another pick pocket came along he was in second place, referred to as an OLSO ran (as in ALSO ran - Weh-hey!) Credit card anyone?
I’ve left my wallet on the a bar in Budapest that went walk abouts. Partly my fault for being far from sober at the time. I rarely carry one with the lot in these days as a just in case.
Did the same but in London - on the cistern of the toilet. Silly me.
You guys need to wear a fanny pack, or bum bag as I understand you euros call them. Anyway that strappy wallet that goes around ya waist.
I managed a ‘fanny pack’ over the weekend. It was a very tight fit to say the least. I rarely have a use for the strappy thingy- only if I’m stressed or Top Gear is on and I can’t be bothered.
