Flowers Founders

Uploaded with plasq’s Skitch!

I came across this exciting new site called Wordle where you can create images out of words and thought to put one together for the founders here at the garden (I’m not sure why Jim & Em didn’t show up together… oops).

I prepared one earlier at my place out of words that make me smile. Something for you to play with and create for your site or other social networking profiles. Use them for inspiration, for telling it like it is or maybe words from a news story that interest you.

What are the subjects or words you would use to make your own? Create and come back with a link so we can see them. Please note that in order to save your comment from going into spam do not include the http:// or www. We can copy and paste and add those in. Most of all, have fun!

  1. I discovered Wordle quite a while back and have quite a few completed. Unfortunately, mine are not very uplifting for I have ended up using them as a therapy tool. Some are quite graphic in regard to my abuse. But if you go to their site, they have a gallery of some really cool ones. They have all sorts of colors, fonts, layouts and customize.

In order to keep the words together like Jim and Em. You would write it like this Jim~and~Em. The more times you type the words (copy and paste) the larger the words become.

Have fun…I later might try a fun one, but I have one for therapy that I don’t want to do…I find something interesting and it turns into a therapy tool…gee, I can be so much fun!!!

    • You can also do any phrase or name with the ~ to keep it together. It does not take punctuation. But, Taylor~Blue would end up looking like Taylor Blue; Purple~13 would be Purple 13. It has a large capacity. If you want to see my “uplifting” ones, they are on my blog in the lower right corner and to see the picture larger click on it. In case someone didn’t read the first comment, mine are not uplifting. I was being sarcastic.

Thanks for the info on Wordle CC. You do have quite a few displayed at your place and I also noticed that you were sent one describing you from a friends point of view!! You are amazing that from where you’ve been to who I perceive here in the garden has had such a dramatic turnaround in your life. Your comments make great reading and I feel blessed to know you here. You make me think deeper about the person I am. Thanks for sharing your stories and insights!

  2. I’m not trying to take up all the comments, but I keep prematurely ending them. Maybe, that would be a good thing if you are given some time to edit or if you can delete your own comment for a period of time.

This is a link to a gift that was given to me by one of my blog readers. It is very special and wrote to me to say that she left out the word courageous, but that is her name for me and not Clueless. http://wordle.net/gallery/wrdl/73885/For_CC

Thanks for sharing this Ange - a new one for us - not seen it before….

Maybe we’ll do one with group hug & twister? :-)

  3. Jim & Em says:

Maybe there could be a mind-map /flow diagram version for brainstorming?

We’re scouring the online market at the moment for software that can compliment the profile features that we’ll be introducing here at flowers…theres so much out there!

If I knew what the hell this was about - i’d have a go. I’m still trying to figure out what the picture is supposed to be?????

One fad i think i do have time to give a miss too…… unless you want them printed onto a jigsaw of course!!
