Tomorrow will be the last

Sunday morning i’ll be setting off for a week with my kids to my Mum and Dad’s house nr Cambridge - lets hope the sun shines!
Unfortunately, my Mum is on dial up so there’s little chance of hooking up the Mac’ to the internet. That means after my last post tomorrow (I’m trying to get round all the various social sites in turn), i’ll be off-line for a week.
A Whole Week!
Will you miss me? will anyone notice? will this dent my rankings or jeopardise membership of any social sites and will I have any ground to make up to get back in the ‘photo gift’ social rankings upon my return?
Would I be better off not having a holiday? What do you reckon and what have you done when off-line for a whole week?

Of course you will be missed! I (Emma) am in Amsterdam at the moment and offline for a week - hence I cant get into Admin. On the one hand it is very stressful being offline as you wonder what you are missing. on the other, there are many other distractions here to take my mind off things completely

Before we went online, I spent my freetime playing computer games! A vacation away from most things electronic sounds good because they do become demanding by constantly seeking our attention. Have a great holiday!!!!
ah those were the days - what ever happened to simple pleasures like a plastic bucket and spade and a pile of sand????? did we fail?

Ack, scary thought Purple. I haven’t been off line for more than two or three days in almost three years and that’s always a hassle! Clients wonder where the heck I’ve gone, blogs fall behind, income slows down, it’s a real horrorfest. Hopefully, you’ve tied up loose ends before heading off on vacation.
Well Mandy’s still here working away so business won’t suffer but i was intrigued to know whether i’d loose too much ground to make up easily on the natural search listings and blog searches etc - about 2 - 3 days has been my max previously too. Gulp!

Hope you’re having a fun time Jo. Guys, I’m really puzzled how you can miss being offline so much. When I take off on my hols, it’s a non-issue, I love the time I spend away from the net, and I forget it’s there to be missed at all! Seriously. Am I weird or… are you all? Ha!
