Go! Smell My Dream Last Night….
August 6th, 2008 by taylorblueI am really into analyzing my dreams. At one point I used to write my dreams in the morning in a diary so I could see if there was any patterns. And as a writer it can be fun to use your dreams as the basis for a short story. I have stopped writing them down because I put way too much pressure on myself to remember every little detail. But I have noticed a recurring theme…
I am away at someone’s house and I have to pack to go home…or I am moving from my house and I have to pack…it’s always about packing. But the part that always happens everytime I have packing dreams is that I can never find a way to bring all my books with me. It happens with other things I want to pack, but I notice it the most with books.
I love my books, I have about 400 books scattered around my house waiting to be read. But I don’t have time to read them lately. I work seven days a week, fourteen hours a day and do an average of 15 posts a day. I don’t have time to sit and actually pay attention to what a book has to say.
I bet my dream has to do with me taking the time to read. Back before I started working online I would read a novel a day, yes, I read that much! In the end I guess I’m afraid that something will happen to me and I won’t get a chance to read them. I guess it sounds stupid doesn’t it…
What is something that you should make time for but don’t?

I have never met a more random person that you Blue Collar. Dreams, packing, running away, books, working hours, stupidity.
No wonder you don’t have time to sit your bum and do something really important like reading a comic.
Erm, Dictator person - Taylor Blue wrote this, not BlueCollar and we’d appreciate you dropping the pointless personal attacks here.
Moving on,
Taylor Blue - dreams eh! What is life without dreams?
7 posts per day and 7 days a week - blimey - glad you’re still taking time to smell the flowers
Erm.. Didn’t Taylor Blue become Blue Collar in a previous post over a league table involving sharks and blue collars?
Loosen up James. I was told there was a time when similar comments from the likes of Fertile Fish & Co.Ltd. made you laugh. Now it’s called personal attacks.
Now, who’s making personal attacks eh?
Nah, Blue Collar was Rufus, but Taylor has always been random (in the most endearing way of course). Furthermore, this is not a place for laughs…….. is it………? (nothing personal you understand).
LOL@random in an endearing way…

Oh we should make more time to get amongst nature wherever and whenever possible and a few more novels would be good as well.
The price of being online or a question of balance?
Hmmm - you got us thinking.
Hi Taylor Blue
I’m like you on the reading thing - I love reading, but don’t take the time to read in big chunks - 10 mins at a time is usually the max, unless I make time when I’m on holiday, then I get through a couple of books a week.
I should also make more time to do the other stuff I enjoy doing - I love gardening too, but don’t get round to it as much as I’d like.
I wonder if your dreams would change if you started making some time in your day to read.
Hiya Emma,
Welcome back
Thanks.
Hi Taylor,
I love dreaming and do so every night, there’s even a couple of us in the office that will eat cheese late at night just so we can have freaky dreams (is that strange?).
Anyway, I think I have a really good life balance and don’t feel like I am missing out on anything in particular. I keep harping on about learning a language so perhaps that would be what I need to make time for.
Cheese gives me the most weird dreams…

I must admit I have a dream
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.”
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
I have a dream today!
I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of “interposition” and “nullification” — one day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.
I have a dream today!
I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight; “and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.”
I have a dream that dwarves will be wiped off the face of this planet and we will recognise the qualities of the dancing bear. I have a dream that all new age con artists will be put into stocks and have tins of beans thrown at them. I have a dream that Queen Elizabeth will get sent to the tower for eternity.
I have a dream.
But only if I’ve had a heavy night on the stella artois and eaten my bodyweight in brie.
Next Monday night, 9pm, ITV1 - Superhuman
Up until the end it was great to see the speech in written form…I’ve heard it so many times that seeing it in writing had an impact on me…it always does, but this was different. You helped to lift me up only to have me fall on my face laughing.
Ignore him…seriously..
yup ignore me
lets talk about horrific tattoos and made up tales of ghosts instead
no wonder he cheated if you were this anti social
That wasn’t very nice Urban…
it was on a par with
‘ignore him seriously’
in my eyes
It’s not very nice to put people down…didn’t your mom teach you any manners…
Taylor Blue, you started. Don’t cry foul play now.
I suppose the initial comment from Taylor Blue to ignore Pagan doesn’t qualify as a personal attack in your books Admin?
All animals are equal but some are more equal than others eh?
It wasn’t a personal attack saying to ignore him..he attacked me right after that…so we are both guilty of it i suppose…
It wasn’t a personal attack eh? Care to qualify what it was then..? Would Weak System Jam Jar care to qualify it either..?
And btw you contradict yourself in the same sentence, first saying yours wasn’t a personal attack, then saying you’re both guilty of it.
Oh, but why am I bothering?
GO! Have fun with your double standards.
I was saying if saying ignoring him was a personal attack then he attacked me in the next sentence…and what do you care? It wasn’t at you…
Yawn.
I don’t have enough sleep to dream!

Hi Taylor Blue,
I miss reading the most. However, I have the time, but not the stamina, energy or focus to be able to do so. I can handle most blogs. I still try to read, but lately the Sunday comics are overwhelming. So, you see my difficulty.
