August 5th, 2008 by Jim & EmHiys folks, Jim here following Ange’s biz recent inspirational post where fellow founder Purple 13 mentioned the song ‘Happy talk by Captain sensible’ - one that took me back to the early 1980’s when it was sung in the school playground.
More recently back at home Urban Pagan popped his i-pod headphones in my ears and played me the following re-mix of the 80’s classic by Dizzie Rascal. Take a minute or 3 and check it out:

Here’s a claim to fame - wasn’t Capt Sensible backed by the Dolly Mixtures (who may have gone on to form Bananarama?) anyway my cousin was at Uni’ with the Dolly Mixtures.

If “happy talk” is scarce my day is pretty dull
Must have “happy talk” in the form of listening to upbeat music or having an inspiring conversation with a like-minded individual/s. Is there anyone out there?
what really cheers me up is seeing the amazing dancing bears perform. its hilarious some of the stuff they get up to. great fun.
Maybe we could do a flowers version called…

Or could that get messy?
That sound a bit strange like someone is stalking me…however, that would make for a really funny twist.
