GO! Have A Nice Day!

This is The Universe. Today I will be handling ALL of your problems for you. I do NOT need your help. So, have a nice day and have some fun… okay… and remember, I love you.
P.S. And also remember…
If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do NOT attempt to resolve it yourself! Kindly put it in the SFTUTD (something for the Universe to do) box. I will get to it AT THE RIGHT TIME. All situations will be resolved, but in UNIVERSAL time, not yours.
Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold onto it by worrying about it. Instead, focus on all the wonderful things that are present in your life now.
If you find yourself stuck in traffic, don’t despair. There are people in this world for whom driving is an unheard of privilege.
Should you have a bad day at work, think of the man who has been out of work for years.
Should you despair over a relationship gone bad, think of the person who has never known what it’s like to love and be loved in return.
Should you grieve the passing of another weekend, think of the woman in dire straits, working twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed her children.
Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance, think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk.
Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror, think of the cancer patient in chemotherapy who wishes she had the hair to examine.
Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what is life all about, asking what is my purpose? Be thankful. There are those who didn’t live long enough to get the opportunity.
Should you find yourself the victim of other people’s bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities, remember, things could be worse. You could be one of them!
Should you decide to share this with a friend or three, Thank you. You may have touched their life in ways you will never know!
Now, you go and have a nice day… THE UNIVERSE
HUGS

This one calls for Studley!

Thanks for the post, this day is one where I have a whole bunch of stuff I need to but in the SFTUDU box. This serves as a reminder that I am not doing this alone.
Thanks for that, I really love the first sentence, I will think of fun as I go through my day, this too shall pass.

You’re welcome Tabs… there’s always “stuff” to put into the SFTUDT box. Hang in there!
End of my day and if you believe in miracles, a day that could have been the worst turned out… I can’t even say the words I am so happy, even at the doors office I was putting stuff in the box and all came up roses… After one sleepless night I will be asleep before the sunsets today, and I mean peaceful sleep
I am going to be sharing this post with my readers,
Thanks

I’m not as quick with the champagne as you Arvind but I’ll catch you up next time
hold on
the woman in Dire Straits?
there was no woman in Dire Straits. It was mark knopfler and his brothers. but no woman. so your point is flawed.
Sorry but surely this is all a bit melodramatic??
think of the paraplegic etc think of the chemo ward
oh boo hoo boo hoo
seriously this is a post to hang yourself too. the end is nigh etc etc
So glad you enjoyed the post Urban. Nothing to cry over, it says to “HAVE A NICE DAY!”

This post is about releasing and letting GO!
We read it at upbeat and +ive…..
Urban - I can see why you think it is a bit melodramatic and ott.
Surely if you have broken down on the road, the last thing you want to think about is a paraplegic! You just want to call the road assistant service and get the hell out of there!
It’s like when I was having a challenging time and someone said think about, it could be worse. So I thought about it and guess what - it did get worse!
So my take is this - no matter what happens, be grateful for that experience - good or bad (no experience is “bad” - just your take on it). Live with an attitude of gratitude as much as you can.
And if it helps you to put things into perspective, then yes do reflect on how things could have been worse. But maybe you just want to focus on making things better rather than wallowing in it

completely agree
focussing on the bad rarely makes things better
Thanks Ange..
A timely post at my end.. Post pending… tomorrow about our horrendous weekend…
I am afraid I cant put in a box and forget about…. it works sometimes…. and thing normally work out… but the universals gods tend to think of us as their own little Jester troop of puppets… and like to pull the strings for their own amusement…..

that being said they do reward us at times….

I really love this post.. Im such a positive person before but it was eroded by work, personal issues and million other things.. when i read that post, it was like I rmember the person I used to be. I think the SFTUTD got a lot to do.
Thanks!
Hi Jhay, that SFTUTD is a really good way to let things go. A friend of mine read this and she told me that she writes down her problems and also her wishes and dreams and puts them away in a little box, kind of like a treasure chest, and forgets about them and she said it’s amazing the results she gets by doing this. Something to consider doing I think. I’m glad you enjoyed this post.
