GO! Smell our blank sidebar

Well we’ve ‘failed’ today ourselves following our recent post on the subject and our recent upgrade to Wordpress MU. We stepped in and started playing with the widgets that Deep and the tech guys understand and frankly, we don’t.
So, as you’ll notice ALL our sidebar content has disappeared with the exception of a few recent comments!!! Oooops.
Trying to see the funny side we found the pyramid poster above and we ask you as we re-build our own pyramid to share your fave sidebar widgets with us here - what would you like to see added to the right column of GSTF?
Normal service will be resumed early in the week and feel free to get amongst it at forums.

I liked the side bar. I really liked being able to see who made the last comments and on what posts. I liked the lively smellers.
The flower smellers list was really long, so I didn’t look at that much.
I would like a clock with Dubai time…I am forever having to take my PDA out to figure it out. Or maybe, a drop down menu to see the time in different cities and countries. I’d die where you live …with the heat.

Huh, I am also trying to keep track of Australia and England. Too much for my brain. I don’t care what anyone has to say about that. I just have difficulty in this area.

Getting (slightly?) back on thread … yesterday’s Observer (UK newspaper) had news on ‘Cass’ a film outlining the life & times of Cass Pennant. Also, classic ‘88 BBC drama ‘The Firm’ is up for a re-make.

cass had a few private screenings last week- was due to go to one in london but was working.
have a feeling it will be a bit poor
even funnier however was a group of icf having a go at some ‘columbus crew’ people in the states who threw beer at them. the firm COULD be good however I think the genre is done to death at the moment. I know cardiff have had a film knocking round for years to be made- I also know initially nicholls had some interest in scaLLY the film- but the truth is its done to death as a genre. and worse still on the whole its been done really badly. the firm the only exception.
I’ll probably wait for cass to go to dvd but I rekcon it will be a dog of a film. typical invincible never been ran stuff. if its like his books (claims of 40 icf holding off 700 everton in a year when they didn’t travel to us for example) expect an epic cliehced hackneyed tale of ‘morals’ pwinciples’ etc etc.
in other news odb- ale at sometime could be a go-er- leeds carnival?
UP - when’s the Carnival?
Hopefully there’ll be loads of those lovable Carnie types about - you know good upstanding community types who aren’t spoiling for a fight & definitely not planning on nicking your wallet/car/baby/[insert material or emotional valuable here]. oldest carnival in the UK- 41st year I think- attracts about 100,000 over two days so smaller than notting hill but I prefer it

Latest average footy & gangland violence film I saw in the mould of Cass Pennant, Bill Gardener, etc was ‘Rise of the footsoldier’ charting a certain Carlton Leach’s rise from ICF hoodlum to almost shot in Rettendon gangster.
Excrucitating overuse of the ‘Maaaaaapppppeeeeett’ but was funny to watch the one time Eastenders hardman Craig Fairbrass being tough again with his curly mullet
(only notable scene was the naked hooker in the hospital, would make any red blooded male go phhhhhwwwwwooooaaaarrrr)
all of the widgets exexpt the one which counts who has been cahting the most…. I look at it and think oh I have been slack… if I dont know then I continue on my merry way…
thank god the Tour has finished… its 2am here tomorrow normal services will resume and I can get some sleep this 4 hours a night for the past 3 weeks has really knocked me about.. I am almost sane at present and thinking in a normal manner… need sleep to regain my cynical nature…. hmmmmmm….

The NEO visitors board - 1 smell from 1 country etc.
The founders badges.
All our blog badges that we’ve been awarded.
Flowers tag cloud.
Finally, The GSTF favicon when anyone types in http://www.
