I am reading the 5 posts in the order they were posted - so far so good.

Common sense is quite a rarity nowadays and I will be using some common sense in working through these posts and discarding the ones that don’t resonate with me

I agree with Dubai Guy - I think common sense is a relative term. People also appeal to someone else’s common sense (as though it’s a Zaphod Beelbebrox second head) when they can’t convince them of something, or they don’t want them to do something.

As to your question - I would like to think I’d pull the door open. But I have to admit that I lack common sense at times. Some of the doors where I work have those buttons to the side to release them. Despite knowing this, I have sometimes stood at a door pulling and pushing it in a vain attempt to open it. Saved only by the person who comes up behind me and presses the button for me. DOH!

I can tell you that the posts WON’T be:

“I woke up today to blue skies. Blue is pretty. I like blue. What color do YOU like?”

blech. Lame. Scintillating reading.

I’m a story teller…but I see people here like short (which is good…I’m 5′2″ tall)…so I’ll try to get straight to the point.

The point is you get the best reactions if you make people laugh or make them angry. If there’s such a thing as an “angry laugh,” well..then…that’s my target audience.

I’ll post no fluff. I’ll post no bullsh*t. I’ll make people mad at my ideas…which is what I do in real life.

I’d rather see some poor innocent prick be waterboarded then coddled and asked if he’s a terrorist politely while being handed a cinnamon scone.

I’d rather see a village of people nuked if it meant killing the 5 terrorists who lived there. Even if it turned out that they didn’t live there, then we get decent video on CNN.

I use my car’s directional and hate anyone who doesn’t. I’ve contemplating pulling old women out of cars by their hair because of this. In the end, I didn’t because, frankly, I’m too lazy.

In the end, I don’t really care about your opinion…and you shouldn’t care about mine. It’s the point in getting it across that counts.

By far an incredible number of posts and lots of controversy on this one. Don’t worry about the upsets Zack, every now and then someone linkes to point out that we’re not being serious or profound or edgy enough with our posts, then a big to-do starts up.
