Do share your views on steroids or we’ll get the hulk onto you. Does ‘roid rage’ actually exist, side or no effects and is it any ‘worse’ for us humans than cigarettes and alcohol?

BUT
the poster is incorrect
as steroids are injected intramuscularly not intravenously
injecting oil into veins could induce pulmonary embolism and rapid death.
I thought you took steroids for that particular sport you’re fond off…wassitcalled something like niagra …….. hahaha
I think the poster should also have read “you’re still a carrot top” not “your still carrot top”

As for the use of Steriods… my god how the heck can anyone willingly inject this into themselves.. i have this when I was having moppet.. two of the suckers.. and they hurt like hell.. I would rather the child birth 10 times over than this crap.. the pain was ridiculous….

first off the picture is I believe of a US comic called ‘carrot top’ who has done a course of gear.
bottom line
steroids are medicines proven to work for a number of illnesses. where they come into their own is when used on a healthy adult the body can go far and beyond what it could achieve without them.
there is lots of misinformation about them. bottom line alcohol is much more dangerous
as for the aesthetic look of a roid user- its such a personal opinion but it is more offensive than the emaciated look of today or the morbidly obese? I think not.
plus people using tend to eat well, exercise well and generally look after themselves better.
as for roid rage. its nonsense. but f you are an arsehole before taking them you will be one after just a much bigger, stronger and more confdent idiot.
and I defy anyone to name a physical sport where their use is not rampant.

I personally wouldn’t take steroids (I look bad enough as it is, and if the picture above is anything to go by….), but I respect the right of people to do that to themselves, if they want to.

I don’t think the issue here should neccessarily be carrot tops steroid usage but rather his over zealous use of a cosmetic surgeon.

Unless each world record had been broken aided with steroids, there is no consistency.
I’d be amazed if any world record of the last 30 years poss 40 years were broken without the aid of enhancement
plus you’ve got other drugs like EPO, HGH, IGF-1, plasma expanders like Manitol, blood doping
and this is just stuff I am aware of- so the people who are cutting edge now will be well past this stuff.
