<description>Hey Jo, have a great trip and tell us about it along the way. I like receiving feedback as it's good to know how people are perceiving me and how I could improve what I am doing. Of course it's different from everyone and nevertheless, I like to be told. Cheers

<description>There is no such thing as criticism - only feedback :-)

And one can see all feedback as a gift.

So bring forth the gifts.....

		<description>Hi Jo,

Thanks for this post and indeed for your constructive feedback about the community in the making here at flowers and for your patience during the transition....

We love the positive feedback first provided it's not given all the time as it starts becoming the normal high 5 and pat on the back.

So, safe trip and enjoy the networking, doing what you do best and we look forward to learning hoe you got on and sharing any of those AHA moments....so just for you Jo, a AHA moment from 1985 - gulp:

<description>Agree with you (shock horror, really?).
Feedback is a vital part of performance. Constructive feedback helps a lot. It doesn't have to be positive but it does need to be constructive and fair. Criticism is fine but generally if its negative it won't help as it promotes negativity or hostility - either way it tends to be ignored.

The one thing that has been key to working in China is being able to give feedback but in a positive manner, I've seen many foreigners fail and get sent home early due to being too critical but also expecting the guys to do everything the Western way - never going to happen.</description>
