Go! Find the Pilgrims
February 28th, 2008 by ThepilgrimsRemember Remember Us? The Pilgrims - here today and gone most of the time.
This is an apology to everyone for our poor Founder performance. Of course we have excuses but I’ll spare you the long list and just blame The Guide Book. After cycling the length of the via Francigena from Canterbury to Rome and GPS
tracing every centimetre of it, we are now putting all our hard work into print, whilst also trying to appease people offering to buy the book before it is finished. A nice position to be in, but the hardest deadline we have ever had to hit.
So here’s a glimpse of the cover (apologies for blurriness - two technologies refusing to talk to each other), just to prove that we are for real, along with a promise to be better Founders in the future, particularly next year when, if all goes to plan, we should be riding our horses to Jerusalem. In the meantime, expect some occasional input from Lucy, our daughter, who is capable of taking on just about anyone we have met on GSTF - watch out for the thorns!

Hi Pilgrims and welcome back and to Lucy as well - a great idea to involve others to hold your patch of the garden!
No issue at all and what a result finishing what you started - lifes busy and we recognise everyone’s got plenty going on - so good luck with finishing the book off and any plans for more travels soon?
Welcome Lucy….
And good on you Pilgrims handing the battone so to speek while you finish…
Do we get a sneek preview….

Seconded - Lucy is great fun and we had the pleasure of meeting her over in Camiore, Italy last September….
Come on now Lucy, the gardens waiting..
Bwwwaaa aaaa aaaa (evil laugh)
welcome Lucy
Didn’t know you’d met her JimandEm. Good to see the young getting amongst it. And even better that its not the snot nosed brat who ‘did our heads in from start to finish’ when you went to Europe last September- that would be a nightmare- and (as you said) ‘its parents must eat a shedload of garlic’.
weren’t that family layabouts f I recall rightly?
LOL Urban - very good….
Are you OK?
So Pilgrims, this may well reasonate with you:
