GO! Smell the dissertation survey with no comments!

February 27th, 2008 by Jim

Can we be serious for this post that requires NO COMMENTS? In fact we’ve disabled them in this one off and here’s why:

GO! Smell the flowers has been approached to help with a survey which is part of a Chris Weber’s (welcome Chris) dissertation project in Stony Brook University in Long Island, New York. Chris specialises in American Politics, Methodology and Political Psychology and has recently accepted a tenure track as Assistant Professor position at Louisiana State University.

Our help which is greatly appreciated who has chosen us as ideal candidates for the survey as a diverse array of blog readers are required. The survey is about people’s reactions to the presidential candidates in the upcoming election in the U.S. and to avoid any bias we’ve disabled comments on this post. That’s right - NO COMMENTS!

So here we GO!The purpose of this survey is to examine how people think and feel about the political issues, parties, and candidates in the upcoming election. In the survey, you will be asked a series of questions about two political candidates, John McCain and Hillary Clinton.

We are very interested in how people at GO! Smell the flowers find information on the web and what they think about politics. In total, the survey should take about 15 minutes to complete, it is completely anonymous and you can skip any questions you do not wish to answer. Click here to take the survey:

While comments are now closed so as to not bias the way individuals take the survey, Chris will be happy (brave chap) to field any questions at GO! Smell the flowers in a follow up post next week in an open discussion forum. In the meantime, please feel free to contact Chris Weber (crweber@notes.cc.sunysb.edu) at Stony Brook University with any questions or concerns.

Thanks for your help gang! No comments please - just the survey for now which will remain on this site until March 5th 2008 - then we’ll open a comments welcomed post on March 6th 2008 :-) Thanks for your support!
