Here today - Gone! To Maui
February 7th, 2008 by OlgathetravelingbraDon’t worry if you don’t hear from me for a few days…I’m finally taking my hard-working, trusty blog-mistress with me on an trip! She’s been working so hard keeping track of little ol’ me and documenting all my exciting globe-trotting adventures…I figure it’s only fair that she tags along every once in a while ~ don’t you? Plus, it’s the only way I can think of to get her away from the dang computer! But then again…she is bringing her lap-top and camera along, so we’ll probably be back in the blogosphere shortly after the plane touches down and/or we land a few Mai Tais!

Our next vacation - kind of - over to India next Wednesday for a 4 day valentine fest whilst thrashing out the format for the commnunity here at flowers with RYK and the gang in Mumbai!

A vacation? I think sometime this year we were talking about driving down to San Diego for a weekend. Our goal is to see all of California. I mean we were born here, why not see what our home has to offer? Well what it has to offer, aside from the implants and tans

I will be booking to go away at the begining of May, small matter of a honeymoon. Bali is looking to be the destination of choice at the moment, probably Nusa Dua again. After the July will see a return to England for Bo’s wedding then September kite surfing in the Philipinnes, Borocay or Palawan.
Going to book into one of the luxury resorts at Nusa Dua? Sounds like a great plan for a honeymoon, Gareth. Good for you! (and your bride).

Last time we went to Meila Benoa, it was great, I highly recomend it.
Bar in the pool, giant chess board, short drive to seafood street, loads of restaurants serving great Balinese dishes. They also managed to deWesternise the dishes for me and Wawa. That is they put in the local amounts of chilli rather than Western amounts. I’m not sure they have seen a girl their whose favourite food is Sichuan (heavily laden with Chilli), they were shocked how much chilli she eats.
Probably hoping to book the same place.
