Where did the last couple of years GO? Alot has happened as the journey continues…

Well, having resisted the temptation to self publish it looks like a publishing home has been found for GO! Smell the flowers – the details are just being finalised with an American & U.K self help publisher.
It seems odd posting after all this time – with it being a daily obessession petering to nothing as life sort of got in the way with its trials and tribulations, highs n lows not wnating it any other way, honest!
Having nearly lost this site with all 2,690 posts and over 50,000 comments it was migrated to GO! Smell the coffee where I’m considering bringing the online keeping it real community back to life. It certainly had its ups and downs but did it have its day?
Are blogs really all that now what with Facebook and twitter?
I’ll email previous flower smellers and it’ll be great to find out what you’re all up to thesedays!
So, what have you been up to in the last couple of years?
Do tell, share and play nicely!

Oh! Here we go let’s get all the tree huggers posting about how they’ve turned household rubbish into a sustainable cottage business. Arvind must have sold at least 7 ‘please don’t use your mobile phone whilst driving’ stickers in the last two years as part of his quest to be socially responsible entrepeneur. Looking forward to hearing some eco-warrior claptrap

Whammmm, straight in there from Angry.
In answer to the question, been up to loads and loads. Not least leaving Thailand to get back China, hence the return as GiC not GiT.
Ah Gents, welcome back, it’s been a while.
Will email names of old amd see who drops in tom update us.
So in a nutshell what’s thenlast couple of years meant to you in terms of smelling the flowers……?
Do tell…
This is a comment to the webmaster. I discovered your “GO! Smell the published book Go Smell The Flowers” page via Google but it was hard to find as you were not on the front page of search results. I see you could have more visitors because there are not many comments on your website yet. I have found a website which offers to dramatically increase your rankings and traffic to your site: http://www.linklegends.com/7-day-free-trial I managed to get close to 1000 visitors/day using their services, you could also get lot more targeted visitors from search engines than you have now. Their free trial and brought significantly more traffic to my website. Hope this helps
Take care.
I am delighted that those flowers still manage to bloom. Since the blog I have started ExpatBookshop.com and really hope to see this book over there before too long and get Jim and Em, ‘published authors’, interviewed and guestposting so their story can inspire those budding writers out there. What did I do for ‘me’ the last two years? I fulfilled a lifelong ambition and wrote my novel, Sunshine Soup, based in Dubai!
Hi guys.
ah angry of ellesmere port no less, thnx foutre dropping by and would you mind sharing if you feel an online community is worth pursuing what with all this facebook, twitter and such like?
So China Thailand then back to China, Gareth. Careers moves, lifestyle or a bit of both?
ethicaleater here – glad to see GSTF back up and running. Not one to twitter or FB much, I always found this site a fun, more interesting and natural place to be. Big up!
Pleased to say I’ve finished studies, qualified and gamefully employed with NHS practising dietetics and nutrition with acute (stroke) patients in the North West of Blighty.
Always game for for chat…
Cheers ethical eater and congrats on qualifying and on the new job….
Good to here from you and congratulations on your book. I would love to see GSTC up again. I really liked it, but got a bit burned out. I think that I would still contribute. I haven’t been blogging much. I have also applied to a Doctoral program in Clinical Psychology for the Fall of 2013. I’m still not working. I’ve been studying for the GRE in Psychology for admission consideration.
I’ve also have been caught up in Pinterest http://pinterest.com/coleen_uyehara/. Having fun there. I only follow Facebook for some information, find out what is going on with some friends, but mostly I play games.
Thank CC – not got into pinterest yet – any difference between that and instagram?? Quite happy tweet, tweeting away….
Do people really have time for community blogs though thesedays?
I still follow blogs and until I took some breaks, I had a sizeable number following me. Pintrest is like scrapebooking (picture, quotes), but on the web. I post things that are interesting to me ranging from silly to quite serious and thought provoking.
By burned out I mean that I got really tired of trying to post even when others were not.
Hi Jimbo, Great news on the book deal.. you are an inspiring guy and the book deal was inevitable, good luck and keep smelling
Thanks Stewart!
